Designing Financial Products for the Underserved:
CGI 2012 Presentation

2.5 billion people worldwide do not have a formal bank account and even more have economic needs that are not well met by the traditional financial industry. This provocative session asked what it will take to achieve full financial inclusion. We explored the new thinking and tools that are required for NGOs, companies and social entrepreneurs to go beyond microfinance and build true financial capacity among the people they serve.

View this highlight video and listen as a select group of innovators wrestle with the question of what financial services would look like if products and programs were designed from the “underserved” out.
